Shana & Tristan’s Elegant Barn Wedding at Irishman’s Acres | Bondurant, Iowa


Shana and Tristan’s June 14th wedding at Irishman’s Acres in Bondurant, IA was one of those days that just felt like magic from start to finish. From emotional vows to dreamy golden hour portraits, every moment was full of love, joy, and genuine connection.

This barn venue gave us the best of both worlds—elegant touches in a cozy rural setting, perfect for a couple like Shana and Tristan who are as kind and grounded as they are formal.


A Day Filled With Emotion, Light, and Love

The ceremony? Cue the tissues. Shana and Tristan’s vows had everyone (including me) a little teary-eyed. The way these two look at each other—you know the love is real. They shared their personal vows during their first look, but reiterated their love for each other during the ceremony and ended the ceremony with a beautiful unity candle.

We took full advantage of the gorgeous Iowa summer light with portraits around the venue and on their property. There was no rush, no stress—just the two of them soaking in every second. And wow, golden hour absolutely delivered. That soft, glowy light? Chef’s kiss.
