I'm so happy you're here! My name is Kaleigh

I'm a Cedar Rapids senior photographer with over 6 years

of experience creating relaxed, personality-driven senior portraits throughout Cedar Rapids and the surrounding Iowa area. My sessions focus on comfort first—then gently pushing boundaries to bring out confidence, movement, and real personality. With carefully scouted locations and a love for finding hidden gems, every senior session is customized and stress-free from start to finish.



 

Parents often tell me their biggest concern is whether their senior

will feel awkward or uncomfortable in front of the camera. That’s where my approach makes all the difference. I focus on building trust first, guiding each senior through natural posing and movement so nothing ever feels forced. The result is genuine expressions, relaxed body language, and photos that truly feel like them.

The shoot itself was amazing! Kaleigh is a natural with conversation and keeping you feeling in the zone and comfortable. It was the end of August when I had my shoot so it was pretty hot, but that didn't stop her from being just the best to be around!

Do you include professional hair and makeup?

I do not include it, BUT I do have connections with a great stylist in the area who will give you an amazing experience at a discounted rate!

How do I book a photography session with your team?

It's super easy! Once I receive your inquiry, you will get an email back including my pricing guide and everything you would need to know before booking, we can even set up a time to meet in person or a GoogleMeet video chat. Then, select the package that suits you best, and the rest of the planning begins like choosing your date, going over location options, what to wear, alllll the things!

Can we choose the location for our photo shoot?

Absolutely! I believe that the location plays a significant role in capturing unique and personalized senior photos!

Although, I do have a curated list of locations I shoot at regularly and know the best lighting situations, so if you are feeling stuck on choosing a location, I got your back!

How long does a typical photo session last?

Each session will vary in length depending on what you are looking for. I offer sessions anywhere from 30 minutes to 2.5+ hours. Factors like how many locations and the distance between locations matter, number of outfit changes, the amount of images you want in your final gallery, etc.

How long does it take to receive the final edited photos?

I totally understand the anticipation of seeing your final images. My editing process is anywhere from 2-4 weeks depending on the season, the volume of images and editing required per session. I prioritize quality and attention to detail in every image for an exceptional gallery delivery!

What happens if the weather is unfavorable on the day of an outdoor shoot?

If the weather doesn't cooperate on the day of an outdoor shoot, we can discuss alternatives such as rescheduling the session or finding an indoor location. We want to ensure the best possible outcome for your photos, and I am flexible in adapting to unforeseen circumstances, like our Iowa weather.
