Hey there, I'm Kaleigh!
Hi friend! I'm Kaleigh and I'm so glad you're here! I am a family, senior and wedding photographer based in the Lisbon, IA and serving Cedar Rapids and Iowa City areas.
After a 12 year career dog grooming, I decided to hang up my scissors and clippers and exchange them for a camera and lenses.
I love getting to work with all kinds of people and listening to your story during your session. I want to make sure you feel take care of and walk away saying, "I'm so glad we made the investment, it was SO worth it!"
The Passion
The experience I strive to provide are filled with high-energy, movement and lots of laughs. I honestly just love getting to know you.
I truly believe a session is so much more than capturing a beautiful photo, but more about making memories and how you feel during the time we spend together.

a little back story:
I met my person, Jason in college. Specifically our story began on a bus ride while on a college field trip where we quickly realized we had a lot in common and it didn't take me long to know I wanted to go on a date with this guy.
Fast forward 12 years later and we have planted roots in eastern Iowa and built a life with our two beautiful kiddos, Waylon and Rosemary and of course Bella, our cavashon.
Before going full-time in my business, I was a dog groomer for 12 years. My passion has always been with animals, dogs specifically, but once our son was born I found myself documenting every detail, road trip, family walk and backyard play time. I invested in my old but new hobby and got a decent first camera. A lot of practice and patience later I wanted to go even further and started this business I am so proud of.

I spend a lot of my time with my family, we love to explore parks near and far, bake together with my oldest and play board games. We are also big into family movie nights in our basement 'theatre', filled with popcorn and Twizlers.

I start my day by checking on our chickens, collecting eggs and in the summer, going through our garden picking tomatoes and my new obsession, Zinnia's for a nice touch of homegrown fresh flowers.
